For such a small island – it’s only nine miles by five – Jersey packs in an amazing variety of walking opportunities and Jersey Tourism is contacting you because we know you love to walk.
Everywhere along the coast, you’ll find gentle beach walks and spectacular cliff paths that take you to picturesque fishing harbours. Jersey’s woodland and hidden valleys are timeless, latticed with Green Lanes and trails that lead to the heart of the island.
From 14 to 21 May, put your best foot forward during Spring Walking Week, with a programme of over 30 free walks. You can make your walks as long or as short, as comfortable or challenging as you like. You can stop off at a pub or two on one of our Ale Trails or learn about Jersey’s heritage in the good hands of our friendly, experienced Blue Badge Walking Guides.
The 5-day 'Around Island Walk' also takes place during Spring Walking Week and takes in every inch of Jersey's 50-mile coastline. |

For the ultimate challenge, why not try the Channel Islands Way? This new island-hopping trek is available year-round as an independent walk and covers 115 miles of coastline around Jersey, Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm. The guide book will be available from Amazon and national tourist boards later this month.
Request your free walking festival programme. The guide will be available from mid-April, but you can order your copy online now. Or take a look at why Jersey was made for walking.
